Video 6 Aug 1, 2010: Working with the transmission to reuse it with the electric motor. Also reusing the gasoline engine main shaft for the conversion.


Video 7 Aug 5, 2010: Removing the clutch flywheel and removing the main gasoline engine shaft.


Video 8 Aug 6, 2010: Cutting the gasoline engine main shaft with an angle grinder to reuse it in the electric motor.


Video 9 Aug 8, 2010: Planning the trip for the building of the plate adapter.


Video 10 Aug 27, 2010: Manufacturing of the adapter plate that will be placed between the electrical motor and the transmission. Thank you Steve Clunn and Audrey for their help and advice.


Video 11 Aug 25, 2010: Removing the gasoline tank. Adapter plate has been painted. Front pulley ready. Presentation of the controller for the conversion. Other components needed are the fuse, the DC to DC converter, the electric throttle, the emergency disconnect and the electric vacuum pump. I also talk about advanced-timing the motor.


Video 12 Sep 06, 2010: Solar panels to charge the batteries and first test with the motor and transmission assembled. I also talk about advanced-timing the motor.


Video 13 Sep 23, 2010: The electric motor and transmission are back in the car engine compartment and I started planning the supports needed to hold the motor and transmission. Some talk about safety. Building my own electrical cables.


Video 14 Dec 22, 2010: Using orange conduit. Starting the engine supports. Controller installation. Cost and time of the conversion so far.


Video 15 Jan 6th, 2011: Pedal Installed. Outlet for the charger installed. Re-labeling of all original cables. All electrical cables, speed cables and clutch hose are re-installed. The supports are well in progress and almost ready. Tricks and tips for building the supports.
